Below the museum is the Internationally known Sally Mitchell Galleries, specialising in original paintings, limited edition prints and greeting cards, featuring animals and the countryside.

The business was created by Sally, author of The Dictionary of British Equestrian Artists and several other books on artists. It is now run by her son, John.

The gallery also has a small range of secondary market high quality gift ware including fine cut glass at amazingly reasonable prices, some delightful dog figurines and jewellery.

There is also a second-hand book department specialising in animals and country subjects, art and antiques and topography.

Please feel free to browse if you visit the museum.
